125g/41⁄2oz/1 cup baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
- Place the baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) in a container with a lid. Add the essential oils and mix well.
- Cover and leave overnight, so that the baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) fully absorbs the oil.
- To use, sprinkle the mixture generously over the carpet or rug, then vacuum up the powder.
